Award Winning General Motors Vehicles Ruston LA
When you’re shopping for a new vehicle at Courtesy Chevrolet GMC of Ruston, you’ll have your pick of some of the best options on the market today. Backing that up is the fact that the current General Motors lineup is full of award-winning vehicles wherever you look. Here’s just a taste of some of the accolades earned by top vehicles from Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC.
Quietest SUVs
Silence is golden — especially when it comes to a family-friendly SUV. If you’ve got a quiet cabin, you can focus more on the drive ahead and keep the conversation going no matter how many people are riding with you. And when it comes to quiet SUVs, two of your best bets come from General Motors.
U.S. News & World Report hails the 2021 Buick Enclave and 2021 Chevrolet Traverse as two of its 11 quietest SUVs on the road. According to writer Steven Loveday: “The two SUVs are corporate cousins, and they have the same powertrain and towing capacity. They’re also both comfortable and quiet inside.”
Each vehicle has its own name for the technology that keeps the cabin so quiet. In the Enclave, it’s QuietTuning™ Technology. In the Traverse, it’s Active Noise Cancellation. Both features absorb and block exterior noises and minimize vibration, resulting in a smoother, more enjoyable ride. The Chevy Traverse and Buick Enclave are both must-try if you crave serenity in your daily commute.
Best Cars Made in America
Chevrolet is a legendary brand when it comes to high-octane performance thanks to two icons: the Corvette and Camaro. Both performance cars landed on U.S. News & World Report’s list of the Best Cars Made in America, giving you yet another reason to try out these impressive performers.
The new Chevrolet Camaro is built in Lansing, Michigan — the heart of the automotive world. For generations, the Camaro has marched to the beat of its own drum, and the 2021 model is no different. This American-made muscle car is an absolute beast with its available 650-horsepower 6.2-liter supercharged V8, and it’s one of the most instantly recognizable cars around.
Unsurprisingly, the spot atop the list of the Best Cars Made in America belongs to the all-new, all-incredible, all-American Chevrolet Corvette. The 2021 Chevy Corvette is built in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and U.S. News & World Report praises it for delivering “stunning performance at a reasonable price.” Better still, you can tie your purchase into a visit to the historic Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, where you’ll be able to pick up your ride after ordering.
Most Fuel-Efficient SUVs
If you’re looking for an SUV in 2021, you don’t need to settle for an inefficient gas guzzler. General Motors SUVs offer great fuel economy, and several were ranked among the very best by U.S. News & World Report.
The 2021 Buick Encore, 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer, 2021 Chevrolet Trax, and 2021 Chevrolet Equinox all earned a place on the list. That means any one of these great SUVs offers additional continued value as you drive by saving you time and dollars at the pump.
According to the EPA, each of these SUVs can deliver at least 30 mpg on the highway. Whether it’s a well-deserved road trip down the Gulf Coast, a drive out east to see the family, or just a trip an hour away to do some shopping, you’ll get more miles for your money.
While each of these SUVs is a great option, there may be none better for drivers on a budget than the all-new Trailblazer. This compact SUV is incredibly stylish, well-equipped with technology, and amply spacious. It’s also one of the most efficient vehicles in the Chevy lineup with an EPA-estimated 29 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway.1 And it’s only an even better deal when you consider its sub-$20,000 starting MSRP. 2
Best Diesel Vehicles
Looking for a truck or SUV powered by a clean, quiet, and efficient diesel engine? You’re on the right track when you’re shopping at Courtesy Chevrolet GMC of Ruston. We’ve got some of the very best options around from Chevy and GMC, including the seven models named to U.S. News & World Report’s list of the Best Diesel Vehicles.
General Motors uses the legendary Duramax® Turbo-Diesel engine to deliver exceptional torque and fuel economy. One of the best examples is the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, which is available with a 3.0-liter Duramax® Turbo-Diesel. Not only does this engine operate quietly and smoothly, it delivers robust low-end torque up to 460 lb-ft and delivers unsurpassed highway fuel economy.3
The 3.0-liter Duramax® is also available on the all-new 2021 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, giving both SUVs more engine options than any in-class competitor. With 28 mpg on the highway, the Tahoe is the most fuel-efficient full-size SUV on the road.4
You’ll also be able to get your diesel fix with the GMC lineup. U.S. News & World Report names the GMC Canyon, Sierra 1500, and Yukon among its Best Diesel Vehicles of 2021. If you’re in search of a lifestyle truck, the Canyon powered by the 2.8-liter Duramax® Turbo-Diesel is hard to top, working with a rugged foundation to deliver impressive off-road capabilities. You can also find the 2.8-liter Duramax® Turbo-Diesel in the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado, which also earned a place on U.S. News & World Report’s list.
Most Comfortable SUVs
When you’re looking at a family-friendly SUV for the whole crew, comfort is one of your top priorities. And if you’re turning to Courtesy Chevrolet GMC of Ruston, you’ll have three award-winning choices that earn top marks for comfort.
The 2021 Chevrolet Traverse, all-new 2021 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2021 Buick Enclave all earned a spot on U.S. News & World Report’s 12 Most Comfortable SUVs in 2021. Coming in at No. 2 overall, the Traverse earned high praise from Steven Loveday, who said “it looks nice, it’s well-built, and it’s ultra-quiet.”
Not far behind is the all-new Suburban, which boasts best-in-class second-row legroom and significantly improved third-row legroom. Adding to the superior passenger-friendly comfort of the Suburban is a newly available Rear-Seat Media System, which keeps the kids focused on their favorite shows and movies so that everyone can enjoy the ride.
Joining the two Chevy SUVs on the list is the new 2021 Buick Enclave, which offers spacious seating for up to seven and features including a Smart Slide second-row seat. The luxurious Enclave is an elevated SUV that boasts high-end appointments, and it offers one of the most peaceful rides in the segment thanks to QuietTuning™ Technology with Active Noise Cancellation.
Whichever of these trio you choose, you can be sure that you’re getting plenty of comfort for your drives to work and your trips out of town. That’s just part of what makes the Chevrolet Traverse, Chevrolet Suburban, and Buick Enclave must-try — and you can try all three at Courtesy Chevrolet GMC of Ruston, Louisiana.
